Sondage de classe sports et opinions

Class survey. Sports would have been introduced first. Use the survey to practise the question 'Tu aimes ... ?' plus different sports. There is a variety of answers that can be given to the questions with different symbols for each. Pupils mark the answers on the grid using these symbols. Model the conversation and how to do the survey before the whole class does it. Extension work in the grey sections encourages further development of conversational language. Check learning with short performances of the conversations and/or follow up with writing up of some conversations.

Viva 1 Module 2 Vocabulary Tests

9 pages of vocabulary tests to go with the lists I've made. The first few have some of the test in English and some in Spanish so pupils write the opposite language. Later on, pupils must just write in the Spanish. The final page is a blank grid in case you don't like any of those options!! Buena suerte.

Spanish Viva 2 Module 3.2 lesson 3 (of 3) If you use Viva 2 for your classes, this is to accompany Viva 2 Module 3.2 about meal times. It is a self-contained lesson which you could use on its own, or use to go alongside the Viva resources. What does it include? This lesson recaps basic foods and drinks from prior learning, introduces meal time vocab’ plus adds in some new words, too. See the accompanying information sheet for more information. If you have the textbook, use listenings from it but this will provide plenty of reading, speaking and writing opportunities.

Spanish Viva 2 Unit 3.1 Lesson 2 of 3. Plenty of differentiation up and down. Reading/writing/speaking opportunities. See slide notes for ideas/help. Attractive animated graphics make it appealing to pupils. Objectives by red/amber/green traffic lights to encourage pupils to aim to complete each level. “Super learner” graphic to show extension. Encourages use of target language. It may well be enough for more than one lesson if you use it alongside your Viva 2 resources. The resource is the lesson plan: read the slide notes carefully beforehand and they will guide you through the lesson with extra ideas for use/extension etc. The date will automatically be correct but you may have to set up your PC/laptop to do this, too. To do this, in the Header and Footer box, on the Slide tab, select the Date and time check box. Click Update Automatically, and then choose the format you want from the list. Click Fixed, and then type the date and time that you want. Click Apply to All.

French Y7 Term 1.1 Speaking/Writing Assessment A simple assessment with the flexibility to be used for speaking and/or writing. It begins with a model answer by Harry Potter with key words to change underlined. Learners can then use the model to write about themselves, so it suits low ability.

Little tickets for use in the French classroom. Use as you wish as tokens/rewards. I give them for speaking and collect them in for a draw at the end of a lesson or week. Write names on back. Winners receive rewards according to your school system.

A set of phrases in English and French to match up to deduce perfect tense pattern with avoir. Lots of cutting to do, I’m afraid! Then a quiz sheet to see what they’ve learnt after you’ve told them how it works! Simple! :/

A "Tarsia" game. You'll need to install "Tarsia" first. Then pupils match up the English and French phrases into a shape. You can tell them the shape to help them!
